While we already lived through a few more months since our official 2 year anniversary, we don’t think we really paused and thanked the community for being with us during all this time.

During my presence on the live servers I witnessed many exciting battles, was part of GM events and generally enjoyed watching from the shadows as you fought, owned, built, took over and generally made a name for yourself in Agon, whenever I had time or the job asked for it.  The visual addict I am, I didn’t only take folders and folders of Screenshots, I also amassed a huge amount of video footage (also captured from home in my spare time) and thought I’ll put this together into a movie as a thank you for the community.

Mind you, this is NOT an official Aventurine Video since the footage, camera and cutting is a bit wobbly at times but it’s all captured and cut by yours truly so bare with me and the quality of the video. It’s very much a personal project, showcasing the most important part of Darkfall Online: YOU.

While we are at it: We recently received some quotes from the Spanish Darkfall Community represented by ISVRaDa linked to our 2 year anniversary and don’t want to keep those comments, we very much enjoyed, to ourselves. With that, again, a very heartfelt thank you from everyone here at Aventurine and specially also to the Spanish community who sent their gratulations our way:

Exactly 2 years ago Darkfall opened his doors. I still can remember that day.. damn, good old days. Isn´t easy to reach 2 years when we are talking about a indie project like this. I think that we can congratulate to AV for that but we all know that they will have to work hard in the next weeks and months. Happy Birthday Darkfall!

Its nice that DF survived two years. My memories on first months are still strong… sleeping near computer, waiting in joining line. My fear when meeting first pvp enemy… first raiding in Orc territory and hiding in the bushes when I saw orc on pigs… Grats darkfall!
