Brownies invade Darkfall’s Lore!
This week our esteemed colleague from the organization of the Acolytes of the Watcher has written an in-depth article discoursing the culture and society of the Agonian Brownie.
Mr Vandelay muses on the possibilities surrounding the mystery of the immortal Brownie soul. Visit the Acolyte’s library on our Lore Site to read the full article, or simply click here.
Each of the Acolytes specializes in a specific area of interest or lore. Arturo Vandelay, for example, is the resident expert in the flora and fauna of Agon. He has also published two pieces on the Ice Dragon and the Demon of the Pall, respectively.
Cassandra du’Laf is the resident Astrologer, Astronomer and expert on all things celestial! Her controversial essay on the Eye of the Goddess has sparked several heated debates among the various scholars and theologists of Agon.
Brother Behrem, a senior Acolyte and master historian has published several papers on the ancient civilizations of Agon and an accounting of the fabled Usurper Wars!
Finally, Brother Albrecht d’Sordiss is a chronicler of current events and geographical places of interest. His observations on the Pall shed some light into the darkness that inhabits the very heart of Agon.
These are but a few examples of the brothers and sisters who work within the order, feverishly chronicling all things Agon, past, present and, sometimes even hinting at future! These enigmatic scholars ceaselessly gather their histories and lore in order that their mysterious Patron be well informed when the time of the “Decision” arrives..
Jeez, that reminds me of that old song they used to sing, the one I’ve heard once while trading with a brownie chieftain.
It sings the life of Binkles and winkles, two brownies that seemed quite famous for trying to take over Agon at night. And every night they tryed. And tryed. And they kept failing.
“They’re Binkles and Winkles;
Yes Binkles and Winkles;
One is all little, the other wobble;
They’re two greeny brownie;
Who like to travel-y;
They’re dinky;
[NOTE : Here, from what I remember, they started to do some weird brownie noises, while waving thir arms in the air]
They’re Binkles and winkles, winkles, winkles, winkles …”
Then there was a second and a third verse, at that time I was quite hammered with the “Chill sirup” they had me to dirnk.
Here’s what I can remember.
“Before each night is done;
Their plan will be unfurled;
By the dawning of the sun;
They’ll take over the world.
They’re Binkles and Winkles;
Yes Binkles and Winkles;
Their twilight campaign;
Is easy to explain;
To prove their brownie worth;
They shall reign from the north;
They’re dinky;
[NOTE : Same "arm-waving" choregraphy]
They’re Binkles and winkles, winkles, winkles, winkles …”
I have no idea wether it’s relevant or not, but if that could help the watchers understanding some bits of the brownies culture and history.

We’ll make sure to pass this on to the Acolytes!
I can’t believe you guys did this, hahaha! Ah man, I’m glad General Binkles can now live on despite our videos. He’s truly an amazing leader, has saved the Brigands many a time!
Long live Binkles! My best soldier.
