• On the 27th of October Tascha posted a thank you to the community for their ongoing effort and initiative in creating player events. As little goody for the community the team posted a little teaser video with footage of a recent player organized 1vs1 Tournament on the European Server. There is also a new official facebook gallery exclusively dedicated to player created events.
• On the 29th of October Darkfall saw Halloween come to Agon including pumpkin headed monsters and special fun Halloween weapons. The team also used this patch to squish a few left over bugs from the Hellfreeze Expansion.
• On the same day Tasos also kept up with his weekly Activity Reports and revealed the plans for the upcoming Offline-Skillsystem as well as giving a bit of insight what the different departments have been working on.
• The weekly Report for November 5th has been posted on the blog which will be used from now on for all information regarding the internal team.
• SUN of the EU server had the opportunity to Interview the worldbuilder of their Clan City Calfardar: Developer Natascha Roosli
• The Blog has also been updated with several new posts and a new exclusive PvP Contest. Check this very space for more to read.

• Massively.com picks up the latest news and interviews Darkfall Player and Tournament organizer Ninogan Swiftstep.
• MMORPG.com covers the news about the planned Offline Skillsystem
• Massively.com’s Jef Reahard asked their visitors to vote for the next game he should be playing and writing about. Darkfall is also still in the running to win this race.

• Monsters have been attacking players randomly all over Agon far away from their usual habitats. The incidents have gone anything but unnoticed and several community members have been providing information on their experiences. Especially Brownies seem much more actively and show much more interest in players lately.

• Upcoming events you should keep an eye on:
  The North American Darkfall Server will see its first Racial War event on the 11th of November. Don’t miss this opportunity to fight for the glory of your race!
  EU is planning on its first 10vs10 Tournament. More information and sing-up links in this thread.
• Events that took place recently:
  Hopeless eatsu and his clan organized the second Battle Royal Event on EU-1. Grats to the winners! We hear there was footage taken.

• EU-1
  2 big events marked the last couple of weeks at EU-1 server. First, SUN took out their Manowar for the Hellstorm Waters fight, and with the help of their newbie-friendly sub-guild Sanctuary they virtually obliterated everything at their path. Also, a double siege took place, with Pandora sieging Z5’s Skaranibben hamlet with the help of Get Good, and SUN wanting to take Spear Waters off Get Good’s hands. Zagenda alliance convincingly won the siege at Skaranibben, while conflicting interests didn’t allow Get Good to defend their own hamlet at Spear Waters, therefore leaving it to SUN without a fight.
• NA-1
  Our fellow NA-1 players have seen a very busy week, with a big war going on between Zealot and Mexico alliance. Many sieges have been dropped, including Moradar, Spear Waters, Moherah, Eronetil, and more, with people getting their good ready bags out for the big fights. Other alliances are also busy, like ICE who are now holding most of the cities at Niflheim.

We are interested in finding neutral players who would like to work with us on a weekly basis to update the community on general war happenings on both servers. • Captain Bashur of the NA Server keeps entertaining the Darkfall Community with a livestream and videos of his Darkfall Adventures: King of the Brownies, Bashur vs. Darkfall’s Kraken (rematch), Bashur vs. Darkfall’s Sea Fortress.

• Ihope Ugotlewt did showcase Darkfall’s small scale pvp in his video.

• The Darkfall Facebook page and Darkfall Epic Blog have been launched.
• The Acolytes of the Watcher have been further expanding their libraries with some more Agonian Lore. Specifically Brother Vandelay shares his observations on the recently awoken Ice Dragon and Sister du’Laff, the resident astronomer amongst the order documents her findings and theories on the Moons of Agon
• Two weekly activity reports have been posted by Tasos, one on the 15th and one on the 22nd of October as well as a “Future plans” report.

• Syncaine ponders what a Darkfall Re-Launch could mean.
• Erruk has had some Fun Hulk action.

• Ninogan’s 1v1 Tournament has been concluded. Congratulations to Awesomefusion ASD, Facking Kebab and Xzyzz ZyXz for first, second and third place respectively.
• Hopeless Eatsu is organizing a 50 man battle royal event on EU1. Check this thread for more information.

• EU-1
  IWS Alliance led by SNAILPARTY dropped a siege on SUN’s Bladethorpe hamlet, as retaliation for the siege at Bloodscar some weeks ago. The result was that SUN got to keep their hamlet in a convincing way, the same way SNAILPARTY kept Bloodscar in the previous siege. Another big siege was the one of The Chickens Club VS the Shadow Lords at Sunstone Island. The 2 alliances fought for quite a while, and Shadow Lords emerged Victorious.
• NA-1
  A huge siege took place at Talpec, where Mexico alliance sieged VAMP to take control of the Yssam wonder city, a city that VAMP took from them more than a year ago. This happened right after Mexico took Sunstone Island from VAMP, and on a sudden move they did a real property siege with no siege guild, waging the little hamlet for Talpec. The result was a double win for Mexico alliance, which sparked lots of conversations on the official forums.

• Darkfall’s third free Expansion, Hellfreeze is finally with us! Tasos posted the patch notes here and a subsequent patch to expeditiously nip some expansion related issues in the bud was released some days later, the patch notes for that can be found here. Furthermore, the torrent to download the Hellfreeze expansion can be found here.
• In an effort to give the 5K contest entries their well deserved attention we started to introduce additional entries which didn’t quite make it into the final two. Last week we showcased the comic genius of Tiny Tyke! The work can be found here for your giggling pleasure!
• Our Community Manager, Brannoc, announced the emergence of Social Groups on the forums. Read the announcement here!

• Ninogan Swiftstep of the EU server is once again calling all able bodied warriors to show off their skills in his tournament! Visit this page for the forum announcement and this site for Ninogan’s official tournament pages. The tournament was originally set for the 10th of the month but has been pushed up to the 17th due to Hellfreeze arriving and causing chaos all around!
• Screw Loose of the NA server organized a Trade Fair for the all Agonian entrepreneurs looking to make a pile or two of gold! Read all about it here. The fair seems to have been a total success and there are talks of making it a monthly happening!
• Mifun announced a grand raft give-away/conquer the lake event! Read up on how it wenthere or watch the video!

• Massively.com featured Darkfall as a One Shot this week! We chuckled at being referred to as a “devilishly dangerous” game!

• The new expansion will be bringing exciting new official Events. Sharpen your sword and be ready! With that being mentioned, the Acolytes have been expanding their library with some more obscure Agon lore. Keep an eye on this section for more information within the next few days!

The politics on both EU-1 and NA-1 have seen a constant battle back and forth between the powers that dominate the servers.

• EU-1
  On the political side of things, EU-1 has seen a pretty big siege that SUN dropped in SNAILPARTY’s Bloodscar hamlet, a siege that SNAILPARTY won in a pretty convincing way. The new hotspot in Agon is the middle part of the map, with a lot of PvP and regional control warfare taking place, and we expect more sieges to be dropped in the vincinity.
• NA-1
  NA-1 is also a big PvP hotspot after the expansion, with skirmishes – big and small – taking place all over Agon. Sieges have been dropped on Elish hamlet close to the center, Ul’Hamra in Ruby and Gulghat in human lands. We are sure that many more sieges will follow, taking advantage of Hellfreeze’s improved siege performance.

• Tasos kept updating the Community on a weekly basis with Activity Reports. Both the update from the 17th of September and the update from the 24th of September shed some light on activities concerning the upcoming expansion as well as general information about what is happening around the offices.
• In an effort to give the 5K contest entries their well deserved attention we started to introduce additional entries which didn’t quite make it into the final two. Some of them you might have seen, some you might not. We already brought you TPOTN’s Schooner match stick masterpiece as well as Tharok’s 3D Fan-Art. Additionally the winning brothers had some more goodies to show and we wanted to make sure no one missed the work they put in on top of creating the Darkfall Dragon.
• Pallist of the NA server is offering a public ventrilo for Darkfall players to anyone interest. Thank you!
• Last but certainly not least, the Lore Team has been hard at work for the expansion too and shed some light on the history of Agon.

.:: Around the forums ::.

• Roleplaying, some of you love it some of you hate it. What we personally think is that Darkfall has great role-play capacity. There are several interesting threads about this topic going on right now. A very constructive discussion about the topic is going on in Signus’ thread. Brando on the other hand is asking for your input to compile a list of ideas and goes even further with introducing a brand new community site for role-playing.
• Darkfall with a console like controller? Would it work? What do you think?
• Orolt Lifebringer introduces an additional feature to his banking service. Check out the post about DFBanking’s support system for players without a big clan in their back.

• EU-1
  EU-1 has been pretty busy siege-wise. Clans have realized that the value of some holdings will change after the launch of Darkfall’s 3rd expansion, and many have launched big sieges to strengthen their position on Agon. Some of the notable ones are SUN VS Nadirian Hordes at Rehnagar and Oethrain, where both parties traded blows, and Pandora VS Lux Arcana. Sea fortresses have seen their own share of activity, with almost the entire server showing up for some great naval combat.
• NA-1
  Our NA-1 players have been engaged in a big fight over Ichtan, and that alone stirred a fair amount of controversy in the NA-1 Clan Discussion forums. Previous sieges have included Skogul, Eronetil, Jeradan, pretty much holdings all over Agon, and no single clan has been left out of the fights. Also, Desperate Housewives have got their hands on advanced Warhulks like the Vileforge and the Battle Ark, and these are sure to help them in future fights!
