Why arent more people talking about making customizable cities and hamlets?? AV, we dont want to build your pre-placed crap... Let us have the plot of land to conquer, and build as we choose. Same with houses! Also let us setup mini forts and castles anywhere thats not exploiting mobs! ArcheAge is a game doing this people! Its in beta but it has some great videoed features and content. Be ready to compromise a bit and see some familiar interfaces. Great sounding game on paper. Instead of thinking about clan A, B, and C. That would be worth paying for and would make sense. I might point out that there is still no tax system on good and what not you buy from vendors at player citys. If you made it so taht items cost 10% more at player citys if you lived there, and 30% if you are allied to the clan that owns it, and 50% more if you have no affiliation, not able to buy from vendors if you are wary or at war. Then the mark up could goto the clan bank directly. This would add some daily income. Not alot but some. You could also make it so that you can set the towers based on alighnment as an option for people not in your clan and not affiliated. These types of changes would add more functionality to the current citys and allow for some diversified city uses. Clan A owns two citys. Lives out of one and uses the other for the portal link and allows anyone to use the city. Open door policy. Clan B owns 3 citys uses 2 of them to live out of but allows allies to use one city and allows anyone to use the other city as long as they pay the inflated costs and the clan benefits from the money they bring in.
