What exactly is Dynamic Lore?

Dynamic Lore is a series of stories and events where the outcome is decided through the actions of the players and clans that participate. The outcome of each storyline will have a definite impact on Agon and future content that will be added.

What kind of events will we expect to see?

We try not to set a standard or make these events routine in any way. We want to keep each event unique and interesting. Of course, as the main storyline continues and reaches its conclusion, the events themselves will grow in scale to some epic proportions. What we do want is to make all these events both fun and challenging to players, while maintaining an open-ended philosophy so you can completely think outside the box and indeed even influence the story in your own directions.

In what ways will our actions affect the world and how will our own names become part of the lore?

Well the player’s degree of success and interaction will determine which factions will come out on top in various situations. This will determine the various different directions the story can take.

As to your own names, we have many exciting ideas and plans for this. This includes quests, in game items and of course the Blood Scrolls themselves.

Glory is all well and good but I want loot! Am I getting any out of this?

The residents of Agon certainly understand the mercenary ideal. For worthy (or simply ruthless) allies they will always have a spot of generosity. Rewards are part of any job well done. That said, the events are not made for the material rewards alone. The main goal is to provide a fun way for players to be part of the ongoing story of Agon, and smash (burn/stab/shoot) some heads along the way. Any rewards must be earned and will only be given to the worthy.

I’d love to be a part of the Dynamic Lore, where can I find the info?

The info on the Forums is kind of vague. I don’t know who I’m meant to talk to.

All the event threads will provide enough info for an enterprising player to find who he should talk to and what he should do. That said, do not hesitate to ask other players for help if you feel stuck.

Why is my name not listed in the participants since I took part in an event?

We do our best to include all the names that we have seen to actively participate, however in such chaotic events sometimes a name can slip through the net. However, do also bear in mind that inappropriate player or clan names will not be used and may well be subject to disciplinary actions.
