I´ve been thinking about the Alfar architecture for quite a while now, and
I think we have quite good ideas in my sketch-pad now. Quite a challenge
to interpret building and such in the caverns where they live. I think the
capital "Kebra Nagast" will have just the right, chilling feeling we are
searching for... Be sure to get a really big torch!

The new concept scketch of humans are in it`s final state. On the 3D-front
I`m doing some resources models, as misc. mining facilities and some buildings
and props to go with that. Other resources as something to do with farming
are also on the "to do list" this week.

Heeeey, quite a while since I`ve updated this planfile!
Since the last note I`ve done a couple of character changes, as the Mahirim.
After feedback on the boards I`ll try to do another version with the legs as
on dogs. This becouse of the point that the Mahirims run on all four to
get top speed, and uses hind legs to jump on prays or targets. This is
quite hard with human limbs. I like the small waiste becouse this reflects
the fact that the Mahirims are the race that`s closest to being animals.
If you notice the waiste of a real dog, you can see that they`re very slim.

I`ve also worked on some vegetation, props and architecture in 3D, and on
the menu/toolbars.
The nest goal is to do a new concept sketch of the human race. The humans
in Darkfall will be real bad-ass that you just DON`T want to mess with!

Well... The Mirdain are done in this round, I`m planning to use some time
to work on either Orks or Mahirim at friday night. stay tuned...

Changing the concept sketches, the Dwarves and Alfars are done, and the
Mirdain is just around the corner...

Currently working on new concept sketches for about all the races. Claus
have alot of great ideas how they should look like, and their tools and
weapons too. Expect major changes within the coming weeks...

- Friday 31. of august I`m planning to spread objects all around in the 3D
landscape, and hopefully it`s going to look kind of nasty! (in a positive way
of matter, just to say so). I hope the support for transparent textures works
the way I hope within this date... I`m making as much trees and bushes, new
objects and upgrading as many old textures and objects as possible up to this
date...

- Trees, trees trees. Have started on different kind of laaarger and smaller
trees and bushes. Quite exited about what it will look like in the engine.
Have also made a simple wall with different corners and entrance to use
around small villages as protection from massive intruders.

The coming days I`ll be upgrading some old textures and objects, and continue
making some nice trees...

- In the past days I`ve done these things:
    - Modified some old textures and objects.
    - Made some new textures.
    - Made a couple of large human houses.
    - Made a temporary demo-version of the menubar for the pre-alpha.

- Wow, I`m really using these planfiles alot :-D
Reduced polygons and re-constructed some old 3D-objects for humans,
mahririm and orks. Now we may use all these tree races at the pre-alpha.
Made a large mahirim building and smaller extentions for human houses
today aswell...

- Couldn`t find the sleep during the night, so I made a new building with new
stonebrick tiles textures.

- Got an idea for a new, large building today. Made it in about 45 minutes,
and it looks like a circus tent in many ways. Guess it`s some kind of large
sosial meeting place for a large amount of people... or something...

- At the moment I`m the only one working with graphics on this
project. We need quite a few 3D objects, and other graphics for
the pre-alpha version of the game.
Plans for the following days:

   - Create as many 3D objects as possible.
   - Get the menus from Claus, and make them look easy to use and nice.
   - Continue doing concept sketches, and shaping the races. (We
     really want these to look perfect, so this journey har just started)
   - Make Claus stop smoking :P
